Nichtwährungsgold umfasst sämtliche Ausfuhren und Einfuhren von Gold, das von den Behörden nicht als Bestandteil der Währungsreserven (Währungsgold) gehalten wird. Nichtwährungsgold wird wie jede andere Ware behandelt und, wenn möglich, weiter untergliedert in Gold, das als Wertaufbewahrungsmittel gehalten wird, und sonstiges (Industrie-)Gold.
