Unter Imputation versteht man die Ermittlung plausibler (jedoch künstlicher) Ersatzwerte für alle fehlenden Werte, wobei bei der Berechnung von Schätzwerten die ursprünglichen Gewichtungen beibehalten werden. Für die Imputation eignen sind mehrere Methoden und Softwareprodukte.
