Eine Preismesszahl ist die Verhältniszahl aus dem Preis eines bestimmten Gutes in einer Periode und dem Preis desselben Gutes in einer anderen Periode. Bei KKP-Vergleichen bezieht sich eine Preismesszahl auf die Verhältniszahlen für dasselbe Gut in zwei Ländern.
